I went to my first class. Of 15 sutudents, 8 are from Saudi Arabia,5 asian, 1 turkish and me. The teacher is very funny and the students are nice too. But the saudi students talk just between themselves (in arabic) and the asians have trouble to talk...
After lunch, I went to work out and then to my house.
The dinner was funny. Our talks are getting even better. We ate some arabian food.
At first, I didn't like the idea of my hostmother isn't american, but now I see it's much better, because she doesn't eat the junky food as american people usually eat.
I'm gonna put later a photo of each one of them. The Saudi Arabian guy is missing....
It was a surprising night. First, she told us about the story of one of her cats:
She was in a China Town's shop, in San Francisco, and she saw a litte baby cat. She asked to the shop's owner, but he said 'No!Cat stays in shop!' (cause there are a lot of rats there, so they need cats). She bought a few things in the shop and she put the on her belly and covered it with the sweater, so the cat was grabbed on her. She was with two bags, one on each hand, and the chinese guy asked:
- Where is the cat?
-There's nothing in my hands. See? I think I've seen the cat over there, near that boxes...
And she ran away... hahaha
Then, we were in the living room, each one on their own computer, watching tv and stuff and she lighted up the incense.
-There's something smelling akward... -I said.
-It's the incense. -she said pointing to it.
-No,but that's not like incense's smell...
-Yeah, it smells like....weed. Do you think Abdu is smoking there, Mina?-David,the guy from New Caledonia, asked.
-No, I don't think so... But in California it's legal.
-But they say that needs a card to buy it.. - I said.
-Ok, so I don't need to light up the incense anymore. I have this card. - and she showed me, with the wrapped thing on her other hand.
hahaha It's a card that alloweds you to buy pot for medical endings. She used to have cancer, so she used to smoke to relieve the effects of the medicines. But now the cancer is gone....
In the end of the night, everybody went to bed happy. (just kidding)
